On March 18, 2020, just two business days after the decision was made to switch to remote learning, JPII faculty were up and running with instruction over the Internet. Our objectives for remote learning were to continue providing an effective education for students as quickly as possible following the need to suspend face-to-face learning and to maintain as much of a sense of normalcy as possible for our entire school community: students, parents, faculty, and staff (see what our parents are saying about remote learning here). We eagerly await the beginning of school in August so we can once again see our students in our classrooms and hallways! However, should the need arise for us to return to remote learning, we are ready with a plan with proven success!
Even though our favorite introductions happen face-to-face on campus, we understand that because of the coronavirus some prospective families might not be comfortable with an in-person tour. Our admissions office is available to work with families however is most comfortable for them. We invite you to get to know our school and connect with us through the channels below. We are still actively accepting applications and processing enrollment at this time.
I just wanted to tell you how impressed we are with how quickly JPII was able to respond to this crisis and develop a virtual school. We are so grateful to the school’s administration and teachers for all of their hard work. I know many students from other schools who are not getting this opportunity and I keep thinking how fortunate we are to have such a dedicated school community. Connor actually really likes the virtual platform and says it feels like real school. I find that having a regular routine and school schedule is making the adjustment to being at home better for our entire family. I hope that all of you are holding up okay and I appreciate you checking in on us.
