Works of Mercy - John Paul II Catholic High School

As a Catholic school community, we orient our students to living a life rooted in the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. In Matthew 25:40, Jesus reminds us that discipleship rests on serving others: "When you did this to the least of my brothers, you did it to me."

Works of mercy are tied to the theology participation grade for the 4th quarter which is 20% of a student's grade. A student fulfilling the 20 hours earns a 100. NO PARTIAL CREDIT IS GIVEN. If the full 20 hours are not completed by May 1, 2025, the student earns a 0 for their 4th quarter participation grade.

Students are required to complete at least 20 hours of service to the community for the 2024-2025 school year. They are responsible for having the digital form signed by the event coordinator for each event they submit.
