Job Posting: Theology Teacher

John Paul II Catholic High School in Greenville, NC is currently looking for a part-time theology teacher.

Hours per week: 20-30

Key Responsibilities / Day-to-Day Job Functions

• Teaching high school students a Catholic theology curriculum
• Access and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
• Classroom management
• Lesson planning
• Collaborate with other other teachers, parents, and participate in regular meetings

Minimum Requirements

• Basic Catechist Certificate or a Bachelor’s degree in education or content area
• NC Teaching License
• Successful completion of diocesan background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with high school students
