Job Posting: Art Teacher

John Paul II Catholic High School in Greenville, NC is currently looking for a part-time art teacher.

Hours per week: 20-25

Key Responsibilities / Day-to-Day Job Functions

• Developing in each student an interest in and the ability for creative expression in visual terms, aesthetic understandings and appreciations, and to discover and develop talents of students in the field of art
• Access and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
• Classroom management
• Lesson planning
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and participate in regular meetings

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or art education
• NC Teaching License or the ability to obtain one
• Successful completion of Diocesan background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with high school students
