Summer Boot Camps

WRITING
July 13-16 from 9:00 a.m.-noon

​The Writing Boot Camp will help high school students improve their writing through games, discussion, and coaching. Camp will include individual feedback and instruction on basic essay forms, source citation, and use of technology to good writing advantage. Regardless of your writing abilities, this will improve your confidence and provide a proven process for attacking any academic writing assignment.

MATH
July 20-23 from 9:00 a.m.-noon

The Math Boot Camp will help high school students improve their conceptual understanding of mathematical content that should have been covered before entering high school. The camp will include some general and individual instruction and feedback. Regardless of your math background, there will be engaging games/content available for you. This camp will help students be more confident and have more success in the JPII math courses.

READING
July 27-30 from 9:00 a.m.-noon

​The Reading Boot Camp will help high school students improve their reading through games, discussion, and coaching. Camp will include individual feedback and instruction on your reading ability. Regardless of your reading abilities, this will improve your confidence and provide a proven process for attacking any academic reading assignment.

Cost for each camp is $129. Camps are limited to the first 15 students who register. All materials and light snacks will be provided. Each camper will receive a T-shirt and certificate upon completion.
