- About Us
Stewardship and service to our community are core values at John Paul II, and much of our student experience is rooted in this. We seek to embolden a spirit of service in our student body to enable them to seek their own service opportunities and discover ways they can make an impact on their communities as well as their families and peers. Through this effort, much of our service opportunities are student-led. They seek out the opportunities to give back, plan and organize the effort, and see the service experience through to completion.
Service in the Community
Through self-guided service, students go out into the community and complete service work at many locations in the greater Greenville community including the hospital, animal shelters, the food bank, and their home churches. Many of the students also participate in summer mission trips with their churches.

National Honor Society teaches students that a spirit of stewardship best bolsters strong academic pursuits. Students in National Honor Society are required to seek out their own service opportunities and log a specific number of hours of service each and every year. These service opportunities are approved by the National Honor Society Council, and students hand in logs of their service time to ensure that they are committed to giving back in a meaningful way.OK
