- About Us
Our accessibility and programming makes us the premier private Catholic high school education choice in eastern North Carolina. The value of our unique instruction approach combined with our rapid expansion continues to cement us as the top academic and financial opportunity for college preparation in the region. As such, we enjoy the privilege of expanding our school. 2725 E. 14th Street has become a home for us at John Paul II, and instead of finding space for a new campus, we are planting our roots. Our prime location is key to serving our community and welcoming as many of the bright faces of our students as we do. JPII has committed to transforming 14th Street following the success of the previous upgrades to our classrooms and chapel. We are excited to announce as of May 17th, 2017, that renovation is currently underway on the John Paul II campus!
As the premier private Catholic high school in eastern North Carolina, John Paul II is committed to the rising of our school. Our student body is growing each year while we plan to reach 100 students for each class—and our athletics program is quickly offering new opportunities to match. To accommodate our increasing student population and broadening programs, we are modernizing our main building, renovating current structures, and creating new facilities!
- The complete remodeling of our front façade will centralize the main building. Students will enjoy a more secure, consolidated entrance with a modern look.
- A state-of-the-art science and physics lab will boast our booming STEM curriculum. The labs will come equipped with new iMacs and investigation stations to allow students to explore the thriving sciences.
- Even more buildings are planned to fill our campus as we spread our wings in the near future. Two additional classroom buildings are currently in the planning stage!
Construction is progressing at a fantastic rate, and all renovations are expected to be completed before the fall semester. Students of John Paul II are sure to advantage greatly from these resources in the 2017-2018 school year.
“We’re fortunate to have been able to experience a 20% increase in enrollment this year; and as it continues to grow, we’re excited to be in a location that allows our facilities to keep pace. The renovation of the front of the school will be a dramatic change to 14th street, and it should serve as a signal to all of Greenville that our school will be here, continuing to grow for decades to come."
